English Launchpad is an application suitable for children from 7-12 years old which has a delightful menu. In the menu there are:
In general, this is a very simple application that is made for children in primary school. However as you can see, the app also contain “Student Roster” and “Lesson plans” so in my opinion, private tutor or group tutor can use this app to teach children English too. And this is a very good English learning tool, especially for young children because the design in cute, with vivid explanation and images for each piece of knowledge. That’s why English Launchpad is very easy to understand and is definitely useful for both students and teachers. You can change your preferred style of English, from American to British or vice versa at any time you want.
For a $5 dollar app, no matter who you are, be a parent or a teacher, or even a student, English Launchpad is not a bad investment for it will be helpful for the first steps you or your children/students take. It provides a clear and concrete base for English knowledge before you take any further step. Although it does not have a voice recognition feature, you can practice your pronunciation by listening and repeating after the audio voice. Do use English Launchpad together with others app and apply it on your daily life experiences. You will see the different in the near future, I believe. This app, however, still leave out Android users from their targeted consumer plan.
